Valve has officially responded to the news that Steam was allegedly hacked, as a result of which data on 89 million users of the service leaked to the network. Valve has carefully reviewed the situation and confirmed that the leak is not related to a security breach of the Steam ecosystem. According to the company, an analysis of the leaked data sample showed that these are old text messages containing one-time codes and phone numbers to which they were sent. The validity period of such codes
